The Bahamas has recorded more than 1,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19.<\/p>

The Ministry of Health reported an additional 47 cases on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases in The Bahamas to 1,036.<\/p>\n

Of the new cases, there are 40 on New Providence, five on Cat Island, one on Abaco and one on Exuma.<\/p>

According to the Ministry of Health COVID-19 dashboard, six more people recovered, bringing the total to 122. Hospitalizations remained at 30.<\/p>

A total of 7,096 tests were completed, according to health officials. These include tests conducted by private facilities.<\/p>
