Prime Minister Gaston Browne has responded to a threat of legal action by lawyers for Member of Parliament Wilmoth Daniel.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The deputy leader of the United Progressive Party is threatening to sue Browne for statements he made in the parliamentary chamber during its suspension more than a week ago.<\/p>\n

But in an audio statement today, the prime minister says he\u2019s standing behind the remarks in parliament and those he made over the weekend on Pointe FM, a radio station that he owns.<\/p>
