Prime Minister Gaston Browne says the nightly curfew under the ongoing state of emergency is still in place.<\/p>

There were rumors this week that the curfew had been extended to 10 pm.<\/p>\n

He told Pointe FM moments ago that the matter of the curfew will however come up for review at the next meeting of Cabinet.<\/p>

The prime minister says there are some businesses which must open as late as midnight in order to be viable.<\/p>

“And I believe some consideration will have to be given to that to see how we can facilitate the increase in the opening hours or a reduction in the curfew hours.<\/p>\n

Antigua & Barbuda has been under a curfew since April. Currently it is from 9pm-5am.<\/p>
