The family of one of the men who died suddenly on Sunday says that his death was sickle cell related.<\/p>

Jordan Ambrose, 24 of Tanner Street was pronounced dead on Sunday by a medical doctor around 10am shortly after arriving at the hospital.<\/p>\n

The family of the recent deceased reached out to their Parliamentary Representative, Steadroy Benjamin, to share the details surrounding his sudden death.<\/p>

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, some members of the public have suggested that his death could be virus-related however the family has dismissed those concerns revealing that Ambrose has been battling with sickle cells all his life.<\/p>

According to the letter written to Benjamin, “they wish the public to know that the deceased Jason Ambrose was a Sickler all his life and loss his life as a result thereof”.<\/p>\n

They added that “he was hospitalized on Monday and was discharged on Wednesday. As a result of feeling tremendously unwell he himself walked to the Hospital on Friday and was again hospitalized. Regrettably, he died on Sunday”.<\/p>
