Close to 2000 food packages are being distributed to the needy across Antigua, Social Transformation Minister Samantha Marshall has said.<\/p>

She said the distribution of the emergency care packages is part of the government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

Marshall said the packages which are being distributed are in value not less than EC$ 150 but more in case of families.<\/p>

“We are trying our best to ensure that we give a wholesome package,” she said.<\/p>
