The lowering of the cost of fuel, which took effect on Monday 30 March 2020, will last for 90 days.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\"><span class=\"s2\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">Fisheries Minister, Hon. Samantha Marshall, welc<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">omed the recent cabinet decision as she underscored the importance of the role of <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">fisher folks<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">in food nutrition and security, especially during this time. This assistance to <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">fishermen<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> comes on the heels of a major <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">initiative, which<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> the ministry has launched among large scale farmers to help the ministry drive increased crop production as it looks to further strengthen the local food chain in this COVID-19 era.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p><div id=\"antig-928085303\" class=\"s2\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">fishermen<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> registered with the Fisheries Division should ensure they are in possession of their fisheries issued identification cards <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">when<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> operating during the curfew which was implemented by the government. <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">Those<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> failing to do so will face the brunt of the law.<\/span><\/span><\/p><div id=\"antig-1985439656\" class=\"antig-content antig-entity-placement\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ReggaeInTheParkAntigua\"
