after Mid-Night Wednesday)\u00a0 to Thursday, April 9 (Mid-Night), 2020 has been imposed.\u00a0 This time period will be reviewed and may be extended.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There will be no movement during the day by non-essential workers except for food and emergency supplies.\u00a0 Private vehicles are limited to two occupants<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Essential workers and others should continue to practice social distancing of six feet between persons<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Persons are confined to their places of residence during the 24-Hour curfew hours<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The protocols will change as the government reviews the situation with the Ministry of Health and Wellness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><u>Essential Services permitted to operate during State of Emergency\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda (to include Fire Service)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Office of National Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy (ONDCP)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Customs Department and ancillary staff to include freight forwarders<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Immigration Department<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Emergency Medical Services and E-911 Services<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">State Media and\u00a0other Broadcasting Services<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Her Majesty\u2019s Prison<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Air Traffic Control Service<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Metrological Services<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Social Security Scheme<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CareGivers e.g. nurses, orderlies, Doctors, Hospitals, Clinics and pharmacy workers<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Antigua Public Utilities Authority and any other utility\/water providers<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assigned Volunteers<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Air and Sea Port Workers (Administration and other staff)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Security Personnel (public and private)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">National Office of Disaster Services<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Medical and Paramedical Professions\/\u00a0Pharmaceutical Companies\/Pharmacies<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Removal, handling or burial of deceased persons<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">National Solid Waste Management Authority and all other departments for the collection, storage, treatment, and disposal of sewage, garbage, refuse or disposal of dead animals<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Telecommunications providers<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Transportation Services to include LIAT 1974 Ltd. (Bus operators are to adequately protect themselves and patrons)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Government Workshop and Motor Pool<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Brokers and shipping agents<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Emergency Construction workers<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fuel Manufactures\/Distributors (WIOC, RUBIS etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><u>Select businesses will be allowed to operate between the recommended hours with strict adherence to the established social distancing regime. These businesses shall operate between the hours of 7 a.m. to 12 noon (Only 2 persons are allowed in private vehicles and must have valid reasons for being in public)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fish and Meat Markets, Abattoirs<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vegetable and Livestock Farmers\/Agricultural produce vendors<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Food Distributors\/Supermarkets\/Community Shops\/Bakeries\/Wholesalers<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Critical Cleaning Services, Sanitation workers<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gas Stations<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wholesalers, Grocery Stores, Community Shops<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Authorized Delivery Services of Essential Items (meals, groceries, medicine, water, fuel)<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hotels\/Villas &amp; Ancillary Staff (gaming rooms, spas, gyms, tennis courts and any other recreational services provided by hotels are not allowed.\u00a0 In-room dining only)<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Private Doctors\/Veterinarians<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Critical Construction (BHM, Meridian Construction Company and CCECC)<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><u>Critical Government Ministries\/Statutory Bodies will operate under the instructions of the Permanent Secretaries\/Directors\/Chairpersons<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><u>Government employees are recommended to take vacation leave where possible<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>All courts will function under the guidance of the Chief Justice\/Chief Magistrate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><u>Important instructions:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Under the State of Emergency, persons must remain in the confines of their homes<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Churches are\u00a0<strong>closed<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Funerals to be conducted in cemeteries with a maximum of ten mourners<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Weddings are\u00a0<strong>suspended<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No social events whatsoever, to include birthday and anniversary celebrations are permitted<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mount St. John Medical Centre will operate under new restrictions<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">General public is not permitted at areas designated as quarantine centres or homes where persons are under self-quarantine<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prison is closed to visitations<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All Schools remain closed until otherwise advised by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Visitation to Senior Citizens homes are not permitted<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">UNDER THE STATE OF EMERGENCY REGULATIONS, PERSONS IN CONTRAVENTION ARE LIABLE TO PAY A FINE OF $5, 000 OR TO IMPRISONMENT FOR SIX MONTHS OR TO BOTH FINE AND IMPRISONMENT\u00a0 THE POLICE AND DEFENCE FORCES WILL BE ON
