Health Officials announced moments ago two more confirmed Coronavirus cases here.<\/p>

This brings the total number of positive cases to three.<\/p>\n

The two new cases are both males who travelled from the United Kingdom and New York.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The UK traveller is 76 who came to Antigua on March 10, 2020. He developed symptoms of coughing and vomiting and visited a healthcare facility on March 17, 2020. The traveller from New York is 54-years-old who showed symptoms of fever and coughing.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The country’s first case was confirmed on March 13, a 21 year old woman who travelled from the UK.<\/p>\n

All patients are in isolation and improving.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Health Minister Molwyn Joseph says there continues to be no local transmission of the virus.<\/p>\n

He said however that “community spread is likely as it has been in all countries where there has been COVID-19.”<\/p>

Since 2019 more than 292 thousand people have been affected globally.<\/p>
