Barbudans staying at the Anchorage Inn have been given notice to move out today, the same day that received the notice.<\/p>

A letter from the National Office of Disaster Services dated December 20th, 2017 advises them to make preparations to return to Barbuda.<\/p>\n

The NODS Director tells Barbudans in his letter that arrangements\u00a0are being made to house them on the sister isle. He also promises to assist those who may need help getting their belongings\u00a0back to Barbuda.<\/p>

NODS is putting together a priority list for people whose homes received minor damage.<\/p>

Residents at the Inn are not happy with the decision, arguing that the island is not ready to receive them.<\/p>\n

One woman said her house was completely destroyed and her children need to be in school.<\/p>

Barbudans, victims of Hurricane Irma, have been living at various locations in Antigua since the category 5 plus storm destroyed the island.<\/p>\n

Services are slowly being restored to the sister-isle which was evacuated after the storm.<\/p>

The government announced recently that those staying at the stadium will also have to be relocated to facilitate an upcoming cricket match.<\/p>
