Casime Mapp Jnr, five years old, has been recently diagnosed with brain tumour and according to his parents, they will need to raise US$25,000 to send the child to Trinidad for treatment.<\/p>

Father of the five-year-old, Casime Mappis, is calling on the public to assist in his venture to gather funds to help save his son.<\/p>\n

Mapp and his family will be conducting two fundraisers in the form of luncheons and BBQs in St John\u2019s.<\/p>

\"\"<\/div>\n

\u201cI want to reach out to the whole of Antigua and Barbuda and regional and internationally\u2026 to help me to get this surgery done for my son. He is really in need at this moment. Any little contribution will be greatly appreciated,\u201d\u00a0 Mapp said.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The first fundraiser will be held on Saturday February 1 at Judgement Square from 11am, followed by a second on Saturday February 8 at the VC Bird Monument from 11am-4pm.<\/p>\n

Casime Mapp Jnr has been suffering from severe migraines and vomiting since 2018 before being recently diagnosed with a posterior fossa tumor.<\/p>

\u201cBasically, he has been complaining of a headache from since October in 2018 and we took him to numerous different doctors and the most they do is send us to do blood tests and give us medication”<\/p>\n

\u201cMost time when he has the headache he just throw up and vomit but this particular time his mom decided to take him to the hospital and that\u2019s when we find out. And when the headache come, it come for like this time and then maybe couple of months pass and then it would return.\u201d the father explained.<\/p>
