Another drug bust at the airport

Officers attached to the Narcotics and K-9 Unit made another drugs Seizure at V.C Bird International Airport on Wednesday.

Around 4:30pm Wednesday, one of Police K-9 dogs detected two vacuum sealed packages of Cannabis hidden inside a cardboard box at Customs Bonded Warehouse at the airport. The Class-B Drugs arrived as a FedEx package out of New York, and carries an estimated street value of  $80,000 (2lbs). The box with its content was seized and taken to the police station, pending further investigations into the matter.

Just little over a week ago, police seized over a million dollars worth of drugs at Customs Cargo in two separate incidents. Calvin Donaldson of Jennings is before the Court to answer charges, coming out of one of those incidents.
