The Lions Club of Antigua celebrated another successful year of its flagship annual prostate screening exercise.
The event was aimed at carrying out free prostate examinations on men, 40 years and older. They set out with a target of testing 1,000 men but they managed to test 976 men instead.
According to Jacintha Pringle, Chairperson of the Health Committee for the Lions Club of Antigua, the event had a cranky start, but at the end of the day, it was recorded a success.
She expressed gratitude to the Antigua and Barbuda Social Security Scheme, MBS, other sponsors, the thousands of volunteers and club members.

Well done!…
“They set out with a target of testing 1,000 men but they managed to test 976 men instead.”
so where is the “SUCCESS” if they did NOT meet their target? Jacinta Pringle tossing around cliche words like “success” to make herself feel good? The event was well attended, but the TARGET of 1000 was NOT met. So stop saying it was a success or next time do not let it be known what your target was.
Who would argue for 4 less than a thoysand?
24 less.
They still didn’t meet the target goal that THEY themselves set.
