The Department of Youth Affairs is pleased to announce that it will be holding a free training workshop for prospective summer camp volunteers on Monday June 4th and Tuesday June 5th 2018, from 5 – 6:30 p.m. at the Department of Youth Affairs Headquarters, Prime Minister’s Drive (off Factory Road). This workshop will be focused on building the capacity of summer camp volunteers, and will include training in a number of areas such as first aid and safety. Successful trainees will receive first preference for any available volunteer/employment opportunities for summer camps registered with the Department of Youth Affairs.
