Anguilla Police Charge Hodge With Taitu’s Murder

(The Valley Anguilla) – Glenville Hodge, a 23yr Old male of Island Harbour has been charged for the offence of Murder of  Taitu Kai Goodwin 27 yr. old female of Sandy Hill.

Mr. Hodge appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday 10th September 2019 and was remanded to Her Majesty Prison.

The Royal Anguilla Police Force would like to remind the public that:

a) The defendant is entitled to a fair trial;

b) There is a presumption of innocence until proven guilty;

c) Nothing would be stated or published which would prejudice a fair trial taking place; and

d) Section 115(g) of the Criminal Code applies and which provides for an offence in respect of any person who, while a judicial proceeding is pending, makes use of any speech or writing misrepresenting such proceeding or capable of prejudicing any person in favor of or against any parties to such proceeding, or calculated to lower the authority of any person before whom the proceeding is to be held.

    Some of us need the death penalty more than he does. Fornication, Adultery, Prostitution, Beastiality, Child Ponography and Molestation, Covetiousness, Slander, Theft, Child and Elderly parents neglect, Idoletry, Verbal Abuse, just name, and many of us are guilty of committing one or more of these offenses.

    If she had murdered him how would society view the Beauty Queen, well-education University Graduate? She was defending herself from her abusive man?

    Ambassador Goodwin himself is no Saint. Sometimes the sins from the parents fall on the children, and when it does we cannot take the burden. Ask God for guidance, because crime of PASSION also requires divine intervention and psychological evaluation.

    Hand him over to her parents for what? All I am saying give this young man a fair trial.

However, whenever a relationship ends, we need to be mature, face it, be responsible & accept reality as is. Taking a life is definitely uncall for. You did not give life…..
