While the United States government is urging its residents to reconsider traveling to Jamaica, a popular spring break destination, there are other options for seeking a trip to a tropical Caribbean paradise.

Even The Bahamas falls under a list of countries where the government is asking travelers to exercised increased caution, often due to crime.

These are the Caribbean islands that fall under the government’s “level one” travel advisory, meaning travelers only need to exercise the normal cautions they would take on any trip.

  1. We don’t want American spring breakers though…they are usually drunk, get into fights, sexual assaults, noise pollution and on and on…Antigua can’t be for every traveller. We are for rich tourists who are couples or families with lots of money to spend in the economy…no drunk, broke 20-somethings

    • Just remember today’s “young drunk” traveller could be that millionaire tourist in 10 years. Or have rich parents who may want to come to Antigua based on their ” drunk” children’s reviews.
      Don’t be so judgemental based on some spring break movies that do not represent most students or young travellers.

  2. Spring break jerks looking for an excuse to drink themselves drunk to the point of excessive, obnoxious behavior should not be encouraged to come here! Antigua has more than enough imported junk and don’t need to increase its stock, raise the level or lower the bar!! Stay away!
