American Airlines flights between Antigua and Barbuda and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport remained cancelled Tuesday as severe winter weather continued to disrupt air travel in the northeastern United States.
Service between JFK and V.C. Bird International Airport has been suspended due to a snowstorm affecting runway conditions and ground operations in New York. The cancellations have disrupted travel for arriving and departing passengers, including residents returning home and travelers transiting through JFK.
Passengers are advised to contact American Airlines for updates on rebooking options, refunds and revised schedules, and to check flight status before heading to the airport. Flights are expected to resume once weather conditions improve and normal operations are restored at JFK.
