Two young men are now nursing stab wounds about the body while one is recovering from a collapsed lung.
Reports are that a 19-year-old Skerrits Pasture teen and his friend, who resides at Yorks, were stabbed by a group of unknown young men.
It is alleged that the duo was with other friends in the Marina Bay parking lot when another group of youngsters appeared from a northern direction and began to provoke the gathering.
The 19-year-old and the Yorks Village teen subsequently got into an altercation with the intruders, during which they were stabbed with an unknown object.
The Yorks youth sustained a single stab wound to his back, which reportedly is not life threatening. However, he was kept for observation at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.
However, the 19-year-old sustained a puncture to his left lung, which caused it to collapse, and had to be fitted with a chest tube. He reportedly is in stable condition but will have to undergo surgery.
This offence reportedly occurred at about 7:50 p.m. on August 7, and
investigations are ongoing.

we need to address with urgency, conflict resolution. We cannot build any economic power house with our young men and women reaping havoc. Stealing, raping , smoking and fighting. No love of country, no love for a fellow humans. Serving 2 years in the army should be mandatory after completing secondary school to instill national pride, discipline and conflict resolution.

2…now, I’ll reference a saying or quote; I’m quite sure, “the preachers children are the worst of the lot.” I’m sure, they were “raised” and “trained” in the 🙃correct way.

The heart of man is evil and desperately wicked. We live in a seriously messed up world where selfishness and greed dominate the mind. We have sold out our allegiance to the arch enemy of mankind and hence reap the evil rewards of ways.
Sad to say, these types of violent behaviors will only continue to get more severe and deadly.
The solutions do not lie only in conflict resolution. The root cause of this evil way must be addressed. If we ignore the cause, then we will be going around in circles.
The fact is: we have turned away from the SOURCE of GOOD and instead given ourselves over to the evil forces.
Until we accept the root cause of the problem and then seek help from the only source that can emancipate us from this mental slavery, we will continue to suffer and perish. We have rejected that SOURCE of good because we prefer vanity and evil.
There is still hope. Set before us are TWO ways of life. We have to choose which way to follow. Unfortunately, most of mankind has chosen the evil way. Every day we experience the consequences of this evil way, yet still our hearts are dead set on continuing in that path.
