SOURCE: REAL NEWS – During an incident at a bar in Urlings Village, a 62-year-old man from Cades Bay was injured in the face by a glass bottle, allegedly thrown by a drunk individual.
The incident was reported to the Johnsons Point Police Station on June 5 around 8 a.m.
When officers at the station arrived, they noticed the victim with a wound at the base of his left lower jaw, from which blood was reportedly flowing.
According to reports, the victim was socializing with friends at the Urlings bar when he became involved in an argument with the alleged perpetrator, who was intoxicated.
It is alleged that the attacker, dissatisfied with the victim’s responses, threw the bottle at him, resulting in the facial injury.
The victim was provided with a Police Medical Form to seek medical attention, but initial attempts to locate the suspect in the area were unsuccessful.
The investigation into the incident continues.
