Organisers are anticipating a “great show” as twenty young ladies prepare to participate in the Miss Antigua and Barbuda Pageant tonight.
This year, twenty ladies have their eyes set on the crown now held by Ayana Dorsette.
“We hope to give a great show,” said Calvin Southwell this year’s pageant coordinator.
He pioneered the controversial changes to the show which is now an elimination style pageant with three crowned winners.
“It hasn’t been an easy ride,” Southwell admitted.
But he said, “we are looking forward to the presenation.”
“We are very tired and very excited at the same time,” the famous designer added.
The show commens from 8pm at the Carnival City and will end around 11pm.
