The government has announced that the All Saints Clinic will be the next facility to undergo major upgrades as part of its nationwide programme to modernise health centres across Antigua and Barbuda.
Health Minister Sir Molwyn Joseph said the clinic, which has structural issues, will be redesigned to meet modern standards for community healthcare delivery.
He explained that discussions have already been held with the project architect and senior healthcare officials, and that site visits are planned to finalise the design.

“I spoke to the architect this morning.
I’ll be visiting the clinic tomorrow to finalise the plan we’ve worked out with our nurses and senior health care officials,” Joseph said, adding that work should begin within weeks.
The announcement follows the recent opening of new clinics in Liberta and Cades Bay (Cobb’s Cross), giving residents in those communities access to upgraded facilities.
Joseph said these improvements form part of a broader effort to modernise all 23 clinic sites across the country, ensuring each community has access to high-quality primary care.

The health minister described the clinic upgrade programme as a key pillar in strengthening community-based healthcare, particularly preventive and maternal services.
He said the initiative reflects the government’s wider goal of building a more resilient and equitable health system nationwide.
