ALBA CONDEMNS IN THE STRONGEST TERMS THE ACT OF
PIRACY AND THEFT AGAINST VENEZUELA
The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA) condemns in the strongest terms the act of blatant piracy perpetrated by the government of the United States in illegally seizing and confiscating a Venezuelan oil tanker in the Caribbean Sea.
This act constitutes a grave violation of International Law and a direct attack on the sovereignty of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
This act, added to the criminal seizure of CITGO, reveals a strategy of plunder aimed at taking control of Venezuela’s energy resources, setting an extremely dangerous precedent for international legal and maritime stability.
ALBA firmly rejects this imperial aggression and reaffirms its full support for the people and government of Venezuela.
The Alliance demands the immediate return of the vessel and the cessation of all actions to seize Venezuelan property. It also urges multilateral, regional, and global organizations to urgently speak out against this blatant violation of International Law.

Trump is after the Oil from Venezuela, because he saw right under his nose China and Russia starting to work on the oil fields in Venezuela. And that cannot happen. He needs to control who gets the oil there. They already have the Guyana oil.
Less We Forget…..You deffinitely don’t want Russian influence in Venezuelan oil because it could fuel any ideas of raging long term war of conquest….Maduro did Venezuela no favors by seizing power and exiling his opposition…Venezuela was once the richest country in South America one of the richest countries in this Western hemisphere after USA and Canada…Socialism with Chavez were the building blocks for Venezuela’s decline and the nail in the coffin was Maduro with his seizing of power….Many countries do not officially recognize Maduro as Venezuela’s President so the many backs that were turned only opned a door way for Russia and China to work with the dictator…The Chinese have already truned their backs on Maduro it’s the Russians who see potential in Maduro’s regime. The continuous downward spiral of Venezuela has led to the doors being opened to drug cartels from neighboring countries to traffic their drugs from Venezuelan ports……Look no matter which president at the helm of the United States the situation in Venezuela would of been addressed….
