
Akeem Brookes of Grays Farm has been remanded after pleading guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Police arrested Brookes on Sunday near Hoppers’ Playing Field, where they found a .32 caliber pistol and seven rounds of ammunition in his possession. He appeared before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel today and is set for sentencing tomorrow at the St. John’s court.
