Among the many cherished memories associated with the former terminal is the iconic image of twogentlemen seated on a bench near the observation area outside Big Banana, a photograph that continues to evoke nostalgia for many.
“It’s these deeply personal moments, woven into our nation’s aviation story, that the Legacy Wallinitiative seeks to preserve and share with future generations,” said Mrs. Jan Walker-Brown- CustomerExperience Manager.

GUYS! I really think with the old terminal needs a proper revamp, having Homeporting and hearing some of tourist thinking its an old run down place. So get the colour coordination of the walls correct so the pictures can pop and make sure they are placed in nice frame work~let people pause and aww at them in the old terminal.
I would LOVE to see this happen and pictures posted. I remember as a child that we used to go there and look at the planes arrive and depart. I can still smell the jet fuel and exhaust now.
It is indeed nostalgia reminiscing about the old days. I wish they had included the casino in the new departure lounge. That’s the only thing I miss
I remember playing the pinball upstairs. One day my daddy gone leff me up there for hours and come back ah bawl bout he couldnt find me. I think I know where he went for those 3 hours eh ??
