Air Peace to Begin Monthly Flights to Antigua and Other Caribbean Destinations on December 21

LAGOS, Nigeria — West Africa’s Air Peace will launch a new monthly service to the Caribbean beginning December 21, with Antigua and Barbuda featured among the airline’s headline destinations.

The route will connect Lagos and Accra to Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, and Jamaica, creating a rare direct travel link between the regions.

Promoting the launch, Air Peace described the service as a gateway to “luxury,” “culture,” and “sunshine,” telling travelers, “Your holiday escape is here! Let the islands embrace you. Let the memories stay with you.” The airline said fares are now available on its website.

Air Peace, based in Lagos, continues to expand its long-haul footprint, and the new flights position Antigua as one of the key entry points for West African travelers seeking Caribbean experiences.

  1. I hope that everything will be TRANSPARENT this time and the next group of WEALTHY AFRICANS will not be swarming our streets and eventually drowning, in desperation of getting to North America.

  2. @facts.
Reading is comprehension, so learn to comprehend what you read.

The direct flights are offered to Nigerians coming from Nigeria to the Caribbean, there are no direct flights offered the other way around. And these are flights offered to high value clientele, not your little man who can’t even pay their rent, so stop with the foolishness about ” good news”.

The economics of flying and traveling to far out places are not affordable for the common man, so this adds nothing to the regular citizens of Antigua and the Caribbean.
If Africa is a place anyone wants to travel, those routes were already opened, just not by the way of direct flights from the Caribbean, so I don’t know what you are celebrating here!

Flights are going at $2800US and up, so I don’t know you and who are going to travel to Africa, but certainly not a large amount of hard working Antiguan’s..If Gatson Browne was so good at negotiating, he would have negotiated for the 70% stake in Lait instead of the 30%, and that would have been something to celebrate.

    So learn to read.

No white man will tell us how to run our country!! Whether the AFRICANS poor or rich, they are BLACKS
Your kind whipped AFRICANS ’til the8r backs bled like raw meat.

So stop with the hypocrisy!!!! You and your Caucasian kind have NO MORAL AUTHORITY to tell Blacks or people of AFRICAN descent anything!!!

  4. @ Islanman26,
Do you really believe Chet Greene went to Lagos and signed a deal for Air Peaceful to get 70% of LIAT ownership; plus the LIAT hanger, and he and Gaston are left out?
Keep in mind Antigua has to payoff the $60 million loan with Caribbean Development Bank

Tge LiAT deal makes the Bronco Vehicle Scandal looks like child’s play.
