https://tribuneonlineng.com/: Nigerian carrier Air Peace has marked a significant milestone in its expansion journey by operating a nonstop flight from Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport to Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport in Basseterre, St Kitts & Nevis.
The Boeing 777 aircraft touched down on 12 June 2025 after a 10-hour flight, carrying delegations from Nigeria for a Pan-African business conference in the Eastern Caribbean.
This achievement underscores Air Peace’s growing trajectory and strategic foray into the global market.
The St Kitts & Nevis service is the airline’s third venture into the Caribbean in five years, following successful flights to Jamaica in 2020 and Antigua & Barbuda in 2023. With this feat, Air Peace has established direct access to three key Caribbean destinations.
The flight was operated using one of Air Peace’s Boeing 777 aircraft, the same model currently sustaining the airline’s daily Lagos–London Gatwick service launched in March 2024.
Chairman and CEO, Dr Allen Onyema, has hinted at the acquisition of more long-haul aircraft, with new routes to Houston and New York on the horizon.
The Abuja–St Kitts flight is a testament to Air Peace’s ambition to transition from a regional powerhouse into a global contender.
With its steady expansion, the airline continues to live up to its motto: “Nigeria to the world — no stops, no limits.”
This latest milestone further cements Air Peace’s position as a leading Nigerian carrier connecting Africa to the world.

Air Peace came here in 2023? I thought it was Antigua Airways?

WICKED, CORRUPT, LYING, DESPERATE UPP take note.
Our people seems to be against anything Gaston, so even though this is a well established airline across the Mother land and even into the UK, we still go out the way to criticized the PM moves and do so by continuously highlighting the allegations of this Black successful African owner.
This is nothing like Antigua and Barbuda’s interaction with the Africans when hundreds of ‘very wealthy tourists ‘ hitchhiked into St. John’s and other areas from the Airport, after being trafficked from Nigeria and Cameroon. All African countries should be wary of Antigua and it’s bandit leadership. We all know the rest of the story and it’s really disheartening to venture any further.
So when Antigua did it,it was human trafficking, and when SKB does it, it’s what………….
Boy I long for the day when reporters and news sites just report news for what it is. Not politicize everything.
Apart from that, look at how the “bigger” powers have us. Fighting among ourselves. Why can’t the Caribbean people band together for once. United we stand and divided we fall. Why can we not see that we are all unique. Where I have strength, you might be weak, so I help you, and vice versa.
We as humans are truly doomed. Doomed I tell you.
“So when Antigua did it,it was human trafficking, and when SKB does it, it’s what………….”
DAT IS IT!!! We have some “people” who will do anything, including TARNISHING THE NAME OF THE VERY COUNTRY they claim say that want to govern. They will stop at nothing in their quest for power!!!!!
They need to listen to “Stand Up For Antigua” by King Onyan
Only in Antigua the opposition would make this a political issue and cry down the government for bringing a plane load of Africans. That is how we will lose business and others will benefit. Antiguans doing more damage to the prosperity of their own country. They rather burn down the country than to see it thrive under the ABLP led government. What a people.
WIKKID SETTA UPP NEARGAH dem be!!!!!! Can’t meet good.
@Shame and Disgrace, and others. It’s not that ABLP can’t do good for the country but everything it does is based on political calculus! Sunshine Hub cannot be finished but according to Max Hurst, it must stay there so that ABLP can continue to hold it against UPP. Result: the Treasury is robbed of resources that is so badly needed. NYAMCO: no reporting of what they are doi8ng with our money. Young people want housing: “creative enrichment” must first be established. Then, political operatives get the best and finally, a few non-aligned poor Antiguans will get what is left. I could go on and on but you get the point.
In addition, there is no transparency because they do not believe that they have to explain to non-Labourites what they do with our money; not that they explain to Labourites either but they don’t really care.
I would bet that in St Kitts they don’t have these issues because their government have earned their trust but in Antigua we have to be constantly asking to see the hands of officials because we have been burnt too many times by this ABLP govt.
Look a swear these people that comment on these platforms don’t read and understand script. Who did it say the plane landed with in SKB. Not 900 ppl that walk the street from the airport hitch hiking. Father help them with understanding jock. Y’all look dunce nf. Jeez man!!!!
