Addison Browne Sentenced to Additional Nine Years for Sexual Assault of Minor
Addison Browne has received a further nine years and four months in prison after pleading guilty to unlawful sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl.
The sentence, delivered by Justice Ann-Marie Smith on Wednesday, will run consecutively with a 13-year term Browne is already serving for a separate offence involving another 13-year-old in 2019. His total sentence now exceeds 22 years.
The latest offence occurred in 2020. Browne changed his plea to guilty before trial, avoiding a full hearing.
He was previously convicted of raping a child he had offered a ride alongside her aunt. After dropping the aunt at the St John’s Police Station, Browne drove the girl to a remote area in Potters, where he bound and assaulted her before returning her home.
The victim later testified to the traumatic experience during the 2022 trial.
Browne, a former bus driver, is being held at His Majesty’s Prison. Wednesday’s sentencing marks the conclusion of the second case brought against him.

You guys are disingenuous! When he was brought before the court for the first offense, the PM was rather emphatic regarding no leniency from him in his brother’s behalf. He stated publicly that Addison must face the full extent of the law for any crime that he might have committed.
Check the facts.

I am sorry to hear what happened, and may the victim heal emotionally and grow strong. sometimes these young girls just dress so revealing in the mothers presence that you may think they are adults. I will never score cheap political point on identity politics by referencing the prime minister for another independent adult behavior or mishaps. This guy Addison Brown has got talent, he is a heavy duty equipment operator with versatility on any equipment, if the government could arrange a training program where Addison can train other inmates to operate heavy duty equipment, be it Backoe, excavator or semi truck to reduce recidivism, I will back the government 100% . And Addison is also a linesman from other multiple role he played while employed at APUA, his talent should harness to benifit others and a reduce sentence applied, he would have prevented recidivism by doing so, so let’s stop this Gaston target here. You may target Gaston for taking barbudans lands by force to empower PLH and other white people. But not on his brother who wasn’t a violent criminal that took any life or shred blood. Use the skills of other inmates to operate a skills training program.

As a former 13 year old I cannot begin to comprehend what a grown man can desire from an undeveloped child who cannot even clean themselves properly. Not even my 14 year old, 15 year old or legally consented 16 year old body looked like something that was desirable.
I am appalled that his habits have gone unchecked for so long. I am more than certain there are many other children who were victimized. Sadly only two he has been convicted for.
