  1. The govt & perhaps we, the residents & citizens of this little nation must be commended for the efforts we have put in to combat the spread of this deadly Corona virus…. Inspite of the fact that a few are doing otherwise, many seem to be adhering to the protocols. We all have a responsibility to protect ourselves & our love ones…… As a result, more should be done to enforce those who are in home quarentines, to stay at home throughout the period of their quarentine….. It is alleged that these persons are moving around in the community, going to town, going to beach etc. If we really love ourselves we should report these cases to the authorities so that they can take the necessary action to prevent a serious tragedy in this sweet island of ours……

  2. I generally agree that the country on a whole is doing a relatively good job so far in containing COVID. Taking to consideration shortly after the country open its borders two and a half months ago, being the first to so in the region, we had the infamous 39 imported cases in one day. Since then or two months later, the country has recorded 29 new cases cases.

However, notwithstanding these results, we cannot allow complacency to set in;never. We need not to look to far and see the what could happen if we allow this to happen. The Bahamas is just one example. Even Trinidad which is yet to open its borders has seen a recent spike in cases including a size-able number with no evidence of recent travel history. New Zealand which is widely regarded as one of the countries to have done a great job in containing the virus, has also seen a spike in cases in recent days and as such had to revert to the dreaded LOCK-DOWN. It is therefore imperative that the country continues to be vigilant and disciplined in its efforts to contain this deadly virus.

A word to the wise is sufficient.
