
Acting Commissioner Lisborn Michael Takes Over CID Leadership Following Cabral’s Reassignment
The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda has announced a leadership change at the helm of its Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
According to Special Force Order No. 13 of 2025, Senior Officer Clifton Cabral has been officially relieved of his responsibilities as Head of CID, effective June 5, 2025.
The order states that the decision was made by the Police Service Commission and is being implemented with immediate effect.
Acting Commissioner of Police Mr. Lisborn Michael will now assume the role of Head of CID.
The transition will be overseen by Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Albert Wade to ensure continuity and operational stability.
All ranks have been advised to take note and be guided accordingly. No reason was publicly given for the change in command.
