There are quite a few people who have been buried for the past few months and the families have not obtained the death certificates up to now. It is not right for a person to be butied and the death certificate was not given to the family.
I know a young man who has been going to the high court over a period of 3 months at least 7 times only to be told his father’s death certificate is not ready or they have no information on the deceased. What kind of unprofessionalism is going on in this place?
@Mr Tabor or anyone who knows about these things if you saw the comment above I have the same issue. its slot of back and forth
Kema I can understand being told that a death certificate is not ready, although that is also somewhat hard to understand since preparing a death certificate like a birth certificate should not take more than 2 days. However, to say that there is no information on the deceased is rather mind boggling. The Civil Registry is in the process of moving from the High Court to the nicely refurbished old Treasury building on High Steet, so perhaps it is the process of moving that is causing the delay and misunderstanding in getting documents.
To the Commissioner of police I buried a relative who was found dead and i’m having a very long standing and overbearing issue in getting a police report submitted so I can get the death certificate what’s really going?
