Prime Minister Gaston Browne has announced that the Antigua Commercial Bank (ACB) has approved a EC$100m loan to fund extensive road works and infrastructure upgrades across the country.
Speaking on Point FM, Browne said the documentation for the loan was being finalised and that disbursement would begin shortly. He described the investment as a major step in improving Antigua’s road network, drainage systems and public spaces.
The Prime Minister said the programme would also include new solar-powered street lighting and the demolition of derelict buildings as part of wider beautification efforts. He added that the initiative aimed to give Antigua “a new look,” with safer, well-marked and properly lit roads.

What is our national debt and break down to whom these monies are owed and at what interest rate ? Since you belive in transparency as you said in the past , these questions can be answered by you easily as the PM and finance minister.
