ABLP St George Branch, and TeamDeanJonas, strongly endorse the nomination of Hon. Steadroy “Cutie” Benjamin, for a knighthood
We, the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) St George Branch, and TeamDeanJonas, strongly endorse the nomination of our esteemed Attorney-General, Hon. Steadroy “Cutie” Benjamin, for a knighthood for his exemplary service to the nation.
Mr. Benjamin is a man of honour, wisdom, and courage, who has devoted his life to defending the rights and interests of the people of Antigua and Barbuda.
He has been a distinguished lawyer, a visionary leader, and a loyal patriot.
He has also been a faithful and dedicated servant of the ABLP, serving as the party’s general secretary, deputy leader, and chairman. He has been instrumental in implementing the party’s agenda of national unity, social development, economic growth, and regional integration.
Mr. Benjamin is a deserving recipient of this national honour, as he represents the best of our nation. He has made remarkable contributions to various sectors of our society, such as justice, security, labour, and education.
He has also been an effective and responsive representative of his constituents, who have benefited from his initiatives and projects in St. John City South. He has improved the living conditions in the area during his over 30-year tenure as the representative.
We call on the National Honour and Awards Committee to proceed with Mr. Benjamin’s nomination for a knighthood, as he is worthy of this high honour.
We urge all Antiguans and Barbudans to celebrate our Independence Day with pride and patriotism, and to honour those who have truly served our nation with distinction and excellence.

CUTIE,NOT SO CUTE AFTER ALL.MAKE SURE YOUR PANTS ARE WELL SECURED.I WOULD NOT WANT TO SEE A VIDEO OF YOUR PANTS AT YOUR ANKLES AND DEPENDS SHOWING.IT HAS HAPPEN BEFORE.IT COULD HAPPEN AGAIN.
Dean Jonas, birds of a feather flock together. All you ALP people the same.
…all generalizatios, hypholuting statements; I see that the people have different views and would express them.
Is this colonial, social status, what these guys aspire to, “…knighthood”?
…give me a break.
Dean trying to play his way back after yesterday posting. Gastón never liked you and yesterday you put your final nail in your coffin.
Cutie does not deserve any national award not even the lowest, much less to knighthood. I guess Gastón is setting up himself for his next year before they loose power. Too much undeserving people have gotten these National awards. To the point that they are now viewed as political awards. UPP before leaving office did likewise. It’s time to have a non partisan, none political approach to something as important as this.
Honourable Steadroy Benjamin deserves this honour. The honours Committee would have gone through the process of canvassing his constituency. The petition is too late and may very well be “political”. Honourable Benjamin has dedicated a significant part of his life to serving his peoples. Like all of us humans he has made mistakes but the good will always outweigh the bad. Let’s give him his flowers before he departs this planet.
I want to vomit 🤮🤮🤮 over and over when in 2023, I see these grown-ass black men fighting to be called sir! Really??? Do you think anyone outside this island cares?
And those lemmings who soooooo want to call 🤮🤮🤮 Benjamin “sir”…you need to take your heads out of the backsides of the British and their traditions and read the history of knighthood,
I totally agree with you @”Really???, very vomitatious indeed 🤮; and what a stomach retching news item!
