The Antigua and Barbuda Investment Authority (ABIA) wishes to inform the public that it has come to our attention that an individual within the community has been using the Authority’s name, branding, and likeness to promote an alleged “investment opportunity” that is not associated with ABIA in any way.
ABIA categorically states that we are not involved in, affiliated with, or endorsing any such promotion. The unauthorized use of the Authority’s name, logo, and branding to solicit funds or represent investment-related activities constitutes a serious misrepresentation and poses a potential risk to members of the public.
We strongly advise all citizens to exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of any investment initiative claiming to be connected to ABIA. All official programs, announcements, and opportunities are communicated directly through ABIA’s verified channels.
To the individual or individuals responsible for this unauthorized activity:
You are hereby instructed to immediately cease and desist from using ABIA’s name, branding, likeness, or any related material for promotional, financial, or representational purposes. Failure to comply will result in the Authority taking all necessary legal action to protect the integrity of our institution and the public interest.
