ABEC Waives Replacement Fee for Lost Voter Identification Cards
The Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC) wishes to inform the general public that, effective Friday, 27th February 2026, the replacement fee of EC$100 for lost but valid Voter Identification (ID) Cards will be waived.
Eligible voters who have lost their valid Voter ID Cards may have them replaced free of charge at the Commission’s Headquarters located on Queen Elizabeth Highway.
This initiative forms part of ABEC’s ongoing efforts to ensure that all eligible voters have convenient and equitable access to a VALID voter’s ID as well as to strengthen electoral participation and the further integrity of the democratic process.
Electors seeking a replacement card are reminded to present a valid form of identification and any documentation that may assist in verifying their identity.
For further information, members of the public are encouraged to contact the ABEC’s Headquarters at 562-4191/4195 or 4198 or visit the Commission’s social media platforms.

Another Smart Move? Sorry will never ever have confidence in this Department under this Administration
Hmmmm … why waiver now? 🤔
@ Brixtonian
My mind just take me to some funny places. I find my mind wondering if it’s to slide in some illegitimate people on the list to get an unfair advantage. Remember they confessed to it after the last election and the jokey Commission did not utter one damn word of condemnation
Facial expressions: Gaston waive lost voters ID replacement cost to facilitate the packing of st Phillips north voters list to get ALP candidate elected, even a you lady who is not well I’m her mind with the behavior of a 9 year old is forced to appear at the registration center in glanvilles to get a voters ID.
