NOTICE: Exercise GREEN SPROUT

The Antigua & Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF) advises the public that the Basic Recruit Course (BRC) 01/25 will be conducting its Mid-Term Field Training Exercise, Exercise GREEN SPROUT, from April 2 to April 5, 2025, in the Christian Valley and Cades Bay areas on the southern side of the island.

During this period, members of the public are urged not to approach or interact with recruits participating in the exercise. This training is a critical component of their military development, and maintaining its integrity is essential.

The ABDF appreciates the cooperation and understanding of the public as it continues to train and prepare its personnel.

  1. ABDF training is child’s play. The Russians and Chinese are serious when it comes to military training. Russian soldiers have taken over nearby territories. The Chinese soldiers are looking to take over Taiwan. Why can’t the ABDF make an attempt to take over Nevis?
