Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force: Brigadier Telbert Benjamin and Captain Abram Browne represented the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF) at the LAAD Defence and Security 2025 trade fair, held in Brazil from April 1 to 4, 2025.
The event served as a platform for defence and security organizations to engage with equipment suppliers from around the world, fostering collaboration and the exchange of technological advancements in the sector.
In addition to his participation at LAAD 2025, Brigadier Telbert Benjamin attended the 83rd anniversary meeting of the Inter-American Defence Board (IADB), also held in Brazil. The IADB plays a crucial role in facilitating cooperation and discussions on regional security matters among member states.
LAAD Defence and Security is one of the largest trade fairs in Latin America, bringing together industry leaders, government officials, and military representatives to explore the latest innovations in defence technology.
