An ABDF officer and her brother, an Immigration Department employee, are scheduled to reappear in court today on marijuana possession charges.

The siblings were charged after police found marijuana during a raid at their home on Saturday. They first appeared in court on Monday, but the case was adjourned to give the prosecution more time.

Acting Chief Magistrate Dexter Wason granted them no-cash bail of $10,000 each, with one surety required.

  1. I have seen the names of all those arrested and charged for more than the legally approved portion of cannabis.
Why is the names of those two withheld?
Is this news portal promoting classism and naming and shaming only the ghetto youths?
Is it a deliberate attempt on the part of this portal to withhold the part that the female is also a lawyer?
Please give us all sides of the news.

  2. One set of crooks. hmmm. Faithful National, are you defending? cause there’s people who were charged and the had less than that and i never seen you say shii.

  3. Sounds fishy. The police were stalking these individuals? Do these people have a history criminal activity?
After all the resources used in this “raid” ,and all they found was 2.3grams of Mary Jane.l Chuuuuupz.

  4. I can never understand why in every other country a news highlights a mug shot and name is often posted, while our news media here kept bringing us highlights with no names or photos.

  5. Y’all raiding people house for 2 grams but big fish moving weight getting a pass? All the police officers have enough to serve the nation. there’s people that can share with the region but this is what you bring a person to court for/ chuh

  6. This news media right here is a beacon of good journalims. living up to their name and delivering timely news to members of the public

  7. Straight Shooter, wait… but.. you have full details Sir 🔒 – 30? Wasn’t it under 30? Or was it 30? In the words of the Bajan man dey, WHERE YOU THERE???!!!!!! lmao!

  8. It’s only when people know people or are family members of such you hear nothing about these situations. Imagine much worse than this happened a few years back but the individual is still working at the very same job.. Ya’ll don’t want people to start talk

  9. That news article is misleading and false. Everyone in this country is allowed to have 15 grams of cannabis in their possession, and grow 4 cannabis plants. It is false reporting to say the police arrested and charged two individuals for 2.4 grams of cannabis. ANR is famous to report things that are false. They don’t investigate. Anything they hear they print without verifying the accuracy of the allegation they heard. And (2), once someone is charged, their name, address, and photographs should be publish. Why are they choosing whose name and photographs to publish ? If it was a man from Point, Cashew Hill or Gray’s Farm, their name and address would be publish. ANR very bias.
