This young man great uncle was ostensibly killed with assistance from the st Phillips north MP , who was an accountants or book keeper at Antigua Horizons hotel under the ownership of a Caucasian woman name miss gay, you would have observed he still keeps the horizon name after mysteriously acquiring the hotel, his uncle probably got romantically involve with a white person up there at long bay area, during the 70’s the Jim crow laws was active in antigua, so if you venture up where you call hill where the opulent white people live after dark you could be shot and the police will hound you from that enclave, you are only permitted there during daytime as a maid or gardener, can you remember the Calypso about a man killed for going Hodges bay to visit his live in house maid girl friend after dark? Now lets continue where robin called the young man back with inducements, only to be discovered in the beach at ankle height water supposedly drowned, but that time we weren’t independent so white people had privilege to do as they please, including Robin who is Caucasian extraction too. So this young man don’t know the real reason his family is opposition alternating from PLM to now UPP, it’s because his great great grandmother swore that Robin must beg her pardon. Being differently able is not a crime, to feel you are accepted by special organization is a discrimination, if this young man was to travel internationally he would have noticed that it’s not an issue, but I back him a 100% to engage in civics than being on the block where smoke is the way of life, as though that will ever give you real estate or future development.

  7. Why political parties love to take credit for what God has done through them. When God choose a government it’s to help His creation, mankind, not some, but all. Remember Satan used people to make havoc on planet earth, and God used people to bring salvation and a blessing to the life of mankind.

  8. @tenman. For the length of time A(B)LP has been in office only a few people can make such claims? And, you call that transformative leadership?? Enough resources have passed through this country for almost everyone who live here to see positive transformation in their lives; so why only a few can be pointed to? The reason is…you guessed it, “Creative Enrichment”. Half of what those people now have belong to the people and should have been distributed throughout the society. If that was done we would not be here talking about a few cases but, like St Kitts and others, our development would be seen throughout the society. Hence, the dream of becoming an “Economic Powerhouse” would no longer remain a fleeting ABLP dream.

  9. I can certainly disagree with this article. ABLP denied me the most basic thing, support. I went to request for the ABLP PM and others to designate my business endeavor that assist US visitors who are victims of qualifying crimes while visiting Antigua and Barbuda and the Caribbean region to get better access to crime and terrorism funds (in the billions of dollars) and other vital assistance they will need during horrific victimization abroad (in the region), but every minister, including the Prime Minister, ignored my request for assistance and support. The PM said boldly, I cannot help you, to me and my aunt, biggest supporters at that time, I am no longer.

    I did not want money, I simply wanted for them, ABLP, to recognize the importance of this endeavor which would then be used to encourage the undue delays government agencies like the police etcetera was causing to various applications of mine.

    My endeavor would substantially enhance the Antigua and Barbuda tourism products by giving substantial assurance that visitors will have resources that is vitally needed during criminal victimization, if they are victimized in qualifying ways. Whether likely or unlikely. That assistance is there.

    Not only that, my endeavor also provides the same services and more for Antiguans and Barbudans, and other people in the region who are victims of QUALIFYING crimes while visiting the US or by US employees located in their country (outside the US). This would allowing an Antigua and Barbudan victim to apply for funds that are topped up with billions of dollars and that Antiguan victim may be able to get as much as $120,000usd from a state in which they are visiting in the US, even if they had returned home to Antigua after the victimization as they were only visiting or whatever the situation is.

    These same Antigua victims would have access to vital victim benefits that does not exist in Antigua when they return. Not only that such victim would be entitled to these funds and emotional support etcetera, they could qualify for crime victim, abuse and cruelty victim visas (that allows you to lice and work in the US), US greencard and US citizenship eventually.

    So, my endeavor protects/assist/advocate for Americans visiting locally in Antigua and Barbuda if they are victims to horrific acts and it also protects/assists/advocate for Antiguans and Barbudans visiting the US and internationally other qualifying situations in ways that does not exist locally in Antigua but that is vitally needed for victims of qualifying and vicious crimes.

    It truly hurts hearing the PM saying he cannot help which conveys to me and all reasonable person he cares nothing for victims and he certainly care nothing for a young man trying to do something positive and also bringing jobs locally.

    I literally had to cancel accepting the office space offered to me, I intended to hire at least 5 people initially and expected to go to about 50. Remember the funds pays for victim to get counseling, home assistance, advocacy/representation, transportation to court/police/medical care, pays for housing to continue to cooperate with law enforcement, moving cost for safety and so much more.

    I really believe this service that my endeavor provides boost the tourism product, it shows the country cares, and not just for tourist but locals who travel abroad to visit.

    The ABLP failed me, US tourist and Antiguans and Barbudans when they said they cannot help someone who did not ask for money or anything tangible but just words so that COP and others could take the applications of essential tools to safely operate this endeavor can be granted.

    One final thing, I would be responsible in investigating and proving before these crime victim funds programs in the US that a qualifying crime did occur and that my client is an actual victim. This means, it is foreseeable and reasonable to conclude I am putting my victims, my staff and myself in harms way.

    The ABLP, the party I supporter my entire life, my number 1 rolemodel, the government agency (police) etcetera that i admire and love so much, my entire life, failed me and Antigua and Barbuda. I am actually emotional writing this. We need to support people trying to do great things, especially those that believe in you all their life like I did those people and agencies I mentioned here that is in Antigua and Barbuda.
