POLICE PROBE SUDDEN DEATH OF 75-YEAR-OLD MAN
St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Wednesday, June 3, 2026
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of 75-year-old Carl Noel Lashley of No-Fixed-Address.
Lashley’s lifeless body was discovered shortly after 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, in the vicinity of the Pillars of Saints New Testament Church of God on Lower All Saints Road. He was found lying on the sidewalk dressed in a black sweater, green shirt, long black pants, and a pair of black Crocs.
Police officers who responded to the scene conducted preliminary inquiries and observed no visible signs of injury or violence on his body.
A medical doctor later visited the scene and officially pronounced him dead at approximately 2:35 p.m.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
The Police Administration extends sincere condolences to the family, relatives, and friends of Mr. Lashley during this difficult time.

” condolences to family, relatives and friends of a man with no fixed address” ,? Really?….How can family, relatives and friends allowed this man to be homeless or am I misinterpreting this wrong? No fixed address could mean multiple addresses…hmmmmm.

No one can force someone to go to his home! Or even the home of a family or friend you are a fool! The worst of the worst!

Trying to preetify speech is a disservice to the individual. This isn’t TikTok where posters use words like unalive, grape, pdf, and self delete to skirt around censors This is a real world news article. The fact is, he was unhoused. Saying so can bring light to the ugly parts of our society that we would otherwise ignore.
Sad that Mr. Lashley’s life ended on such a note
