The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre revealed sixty-seven (67) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Thursday 30th September 2021 at 6pm.
Seventy-one (71) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre and one hundred and thirty-five (135) at CARPHA.
Thirty-two (32) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to two thousand two hundred and sixty-five (2,265).
Three (3) Covid-19 related deaths were recorded increasing the total to eighty-four (84).
Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is three thousand four hundred and three (3,401); which is inclusive of one thousand and six (1,006) active cases.
There are forty-eight (48) hospitalized cases; twenty-five (25) mild, thirteen(13) moderate and ten (10) severe.
Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated forty two thousand eight hundred and eighty-six (42,886) individuals while nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-two (9,992) have only received their first dose.
