Reports say the alleged victim had left home after securing the money in a black safe located in her bedroom.

The safe was said to also contain her Antigua and Barbuda passport and birth certificate.

When she returned home almost eight hours later – having been gone from 8:45 a.m. until 4 p.m. on December 5 – she discovered that the safe had been stolen.

She reported the robbery through 911 and police officers visited her home, whey they observed no signs of forced entry.

  1. So in other words it’s Safe to say that the Safe is in a Safe place that the Safe is Safely kept….. Cuz I can’t believe big people want to tell other big people after police investigated the scene of the crime, that they see no force entry, common sense really no common no more….. it only seems like someone close to her or her herself took it just speculating….. but hopefully the safe is safe right…..😩😩😩😩😩

  2. If this wasn’t so serious, I would have said that the Lord came for his tithe and offerings. Clearly someone other than the Lord knew of the presence of the monies there and in this season of joy and goodwill, they helped themselves to it. Keeping church money or any money at home whilst you are out is defeating the purpose of having banks. You can’t be careless especially at this time of the year.

  3. All fools day gone long time, plus we to know her name, things so hard in antigua, they are even stealing from the church, welcome to the next level

  4. Now tell me why church money in a safe at a house and not a legitimate bank account? People hard working money for the upliftment of the church you so carelessly handled.
    No force entry it’s CHRISTMAS!!

    • For the upliftment of the church which is just a business corporation, so in that capacity a CEO which is the pastor uplift and social status wearing the finest cloth and eat the best while the poor whom have been duped into giving away all their little hard earnings for a real estate in the sky that Columbus and the pope came selling us black people and taking all we got never materialized. So it’s the people being robbed for centuries, anywhere you see a ghetto is formed goes hand in hand with these little business place under the title church springs up to prey upon the people unfortunate circumstances generated by lack of infrastructure and education which will generate domestic problems of which the pastor just like politicians will use to control that community to it self enrichment. Those church will never appear on the rich neighborhoods like blue waters or crossbies, they could go in those area to keep noise as they do in the poor neighborhood. And areas of wealth is synonymous with education so domestic issues are greatly reduced so no pastor as savior is needed. So it’s the so call church robbed the people of that $50k

  5. In the year of Our Lord 2023 there are people still hiding or hoarding large sums of money in their homes. This backwards-looking method, if you can call it a method, harks back hundreds of years when slaves kept their meagre asstes in a box under their beds, hence the term box money. We now live in an age where you can deposit your savings and other assets in a bank for safe keeping. You can also earn interest on your deposit as miserly as it is, but the overriding factor is that your money is safe. If the bank collapses you will be compensated. If people today choose to put faith in any individual with their money which is kept in their home then they are playing with fire and should not be surprised if they get burned. Box money? Money-go-round with no interest, just round and round with your money not working for you. Kept in insecure surroundings. I don’t get it.

  6. Quick, get that religious and spiritual zealot @ From The Sideline on the case.

He’ll never believe that any person who goes to church and looks after the tithe money/funds is capable of nefarious behaviour.

  7. I was about to get upset at her for having such large amount of money at home and then i remember I USE TO keep at least close to million dollar to remind myself that this is really happening.

    I NO LONGER DO THIS.

Please keep your money in the bank. Especially when it is not yours and holding for another.

Now she will be considered negligent at minimum and a thief at maximum who steals from a church (misappropriation).

But for the criminals who have taken the money, I hope you return the money and this is your last time.

  8. Well if you see her start getting new furniture and appliances for Christmas, then you know who stole the money. What a thing.

  9. I try not to judge ,but if there’s no sign of force entry this is looking suspicious. Lord help us ! So you see one of the reason why some persons do not return tithes and offering . My grandmother says all unfair game hafu play again! Be careful what you sow.

  10. Wa church need dem big savings for 🤔go feel the needy and stop putting up money for an religiously invented person who will never return 👍🏽

  11. Why would a church keep all that cash in a safe rather then to deposit this into their bank account? This warrant a deep investigation.

    • Sidey, aren’t you going to quote any scriptural references to solve this INSIDE job?

WHAT WOULD GASTON DO (WWGD) 🤣

  12. Waste of police time. Why are people keeping their cash at home when we have banks and most business accept debit card transactions. She has to answer to the church members.
