Police are investigating a burglary at Potters Primary School in which five televisions were stolen earlier this week.
According to reports, the incident occurred sometime between 4:30 p.m. on October 21 and 4:30 a.m. on October 22, 2025.
Principal Ms. Athill reported the matter to the Criminal Investigations Department (C.I.D) after discovering the missing items.
Investigators said unknown individuals used a hard object to pry open doors to several classrooms on the western side of the compound before removing the televisions. The perpetrators are believed to have exited through the same entry point.
Police searched the surrounding area but were unable to recover the stolen items. Several persons were interviewed; however, no useful information was obtained.
The Forensic Evidence and Recovery Unit (F.E.R.U) has been notified, and investigations are ongoing.

No security at the school
Thieving is the national pass time if Antigua. It’s more popular than football, cricket and basketball. Take the Vehicle scandal, all people in influential positions, and the two biggest Ministries, but hear this, for the vehicle scandal they just want to switch round the greedy horses to feed in other pastures, but when and if they catch the TV thieves, straight ah jail dem ah go. The school deserves better protection. This could have been prevented with some security measures.

The government should get solar powered streetlight with camera combination out of china to replace all existing streetlights system and help the police and government solve crime.
