A man with a history of criminal activities has been incarcerated for five months due to the theft of 18 five-gallon water bottles from a local restaurant.

Eustace Lovell, residing in Cashew Hill, was captured on CCTV breaking into the Gullsea restaurant and absconding with the bottles valued at $30 each.

Despite claiming personal use, none of the stolen items were recovered.

Despite his promises to reform, Magistrate Conliffe Clarke remained unconvinced by Lovell’s past declarations and sentenced him to His Majesty’s Prison for the next five months.(Observer)
