Cabinet Notes: The Minister with responsibility for Technology informed that his Ministry is in negotiations with another Call Center.
The principals have announced that they will employ more than 300 workers who can be trained to work from their homes.
The firm has a workforce of hundreds of thousands around the world, and can begin operations in June 2021 if the conditions are right.
The terms and concessions are currently being negotiated.

Be careful. Frequently these are low paying jobs and I mean low paying. We need to know more about this outfit.
Why now look at the bright side? Work from home meaning no bus fair or car needed to go to work. It also mean not spending on work clothes and daily lunch. 2 years ago the call center on airport road closed down and there was immediate “a large call center” was coming. In fact, the former call center employees were told to check with their constituency representative for jobs and I recall that meeting took place for names to be recorded for this “imminent opening” of that call center, again to hire about 300…
