The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre revealed twenty-eight (28) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Monday 27th September 2021 at 6pm.
Ninety-four (94) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.
Eleven (11) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to two thousand one hundred and thirty-four (2134).
Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is three thousand one hundred and eighty-eight (3,188); which is inclusive of nine hundred and seventy-eight (978) active cases.
There are fifty-two (52) hospitalized cases; twenty-four (24) mild, eighteen (18) moderate and ten (10) severe.
Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated forty two thousand one hundred and seventy (42,170) individuals while eight thousand nine hundred and seventy-eight (8,978) have only received their first dose.
The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
