The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre revealed twenty-eight (28) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Wednesday 13th October 2021 at 6pm.
One hundred and forty-three (143) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.
Eighty-five (85) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to three thousand and twenty-two (3,022).
Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is three thousand eight hundred and fifty-eight (3,858); which is inclusive of seven hundred and forty-three (743) active cases.
There are thirty-five (35) hospitalized cases; twenty-three (23) mild, five (5) moderate and seven (7) severe.
Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated forty five thousand eight hundred and thirty-six (45,836) individuals while nine thousand one hundred and seventy-one (9,171) have only received their first dose.
The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
