A 24-year-old man from Willikies has been rushed to hospital in critical condition after being shot at least three times in the village.
The incident happened shortly after 8 Sunday evening.
Police say the victim was at a bar in the area when an assailant alighted from a car and opened fire on him.
He was shot in the head, groin and knee.
Police have launched a manhunt for the shooter; a motive for the shooting has not yet been disclosed.

Don’t want to judge anyone, but I think you should find a less transparent picture for some of these guys. You look at this and right off assumptions start kicking in. Condolences.
@Caarva: My sentiments exactly. I agree with you 100%. I honestly think that a photo not showing someone holding a drink in one hand and a solid in the other is an inappropriate photo to publish considering the severity of the situation that you are reporting.
@J Dude Why should the photo not be shown? Apparently he didn’t see anything wrong with taking a picture glorifying what he’s holding. It’s always after bad instances we want to show people as saints.
