The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre revealed twenty-two (22) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Saturday 9th October 2021 at 6pm.
Seventy-seven (77) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.
Forty-six (46) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to two thousand seven hundred and thirteen (2,713).
Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is three thousand seven hundred and seventy-two (3,772); which is inclusive of nine hundred and sixty-six (966) active cases.
There are thirty-one (31) hospitalized cases; seventeen (17) mild, eight (8) moderate and six (6) severe.
Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated forty four thousand and four hundred and five (44,405) individuals while ten thousand and thirty (10,030) have only received their first dose.
The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
