TWO CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH ALL SAINTS SERVICE STATION ROBBERY

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda — Tuesday, 2 July 2025

Police have arrested and jointly charged 30-year-old Ernesto Estevan Lawrence of Swetes Village and 18-year-old Maurice Belgrave Jr. of All Saints in connection with a robbery at the All Saints Service Station.

Both men were charged with Aggravated Robbery. Lawrence was further charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Discharging a Firearm.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Saturday, 28 June 2025, in which an armed assailant entered the All Saints Service Station and robbed the pump attendants of an undisclosed sum of money.

A single gunshot was discharged during the robbery; however, no injuries were reported.

Subsequent investigations by the police led to the arrest of the two suspects, who were later charged accordingly.

They are expected to appear before the court to answer to the charges.

The police continue to urge members of the public with information that can assist in ongoing investigations to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or Crimestoppers at 800-TIPS (8477).

  1. A what could of got the youths so? Fete ticket money them looking,? Why not get a summer job, I got some yard work to do in my yard for summer, amd alot of other yard there to clean but instead they want easy quick money, them pathetic fools, what kind of deceitful men they will grow up to be? The world would do better without them kinda useless youths that don’t contribute to society positively

  2. Swift actions and swift responses by the police.

All we need now is for our judiciary to act accordingly as well, and show these wannabe gangstas on this small island that crime doesn’t pay.

It’s encouraging to hear that that push back against criminality has commenced.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK OFFICERS …

  3. The same two names mentioned in Brownies robbery, guess with all the upcoming carnival fetes these clowns trying to set themselves up by looking like players in the crowd, impressing our young girls hooking them up with a new outfit, hair and manicure, while spending Brownie and gas station money.
Embarrassed these clowns by posting their faces and question them separately let them tell you where they get this gun from.
    Broke ass players.

  4. You and the one from Swetes that robbed gas station got what was set for you I made sure i put things in place for you to be broke to the point you would get desperate for money without hurting anyone…when you see certain yards in Swetes dont go taking whats not yours – car parts, items from the house or coconuts you’ve been warned…all you thiefing young men keep out of people place…there are people who are darker and more wicked than you without using weapons. The next time yall won’t make it jail.

  5. Wait so they needed money or something cause they robbed two days back to back. Oh boii hope they enjoy the jail time. And I hope that man is beaten sick

  6. Adele school really has to be them alma mater because reading and understanding really is a problem for them. That’s y things not getting better they not glad the were caught and will be brought to justice they studying about unnecessary things. Stupid set of ppl in this place….

  7. Having intellectual problems should be a crime and you should be charged just like these thieves! Cause how can you not understand that they robbed the gas station the Saturday and then they robbed brownies on Sunday and was caught by police? Adele school is your Alma mater?

  8. Get ur story right, if they were arrested and charge fir all saints, how the hell were they arrested and charged for brownie when they were already in custody the day before ?

  9. In all honesty, I believe that is just a handful of criminals that are creating all this havoc in Antigua. Same ones doing all the armed robberies etc. They are simply going from communities to communities, identifying their targets and then pounce upon them when it best suits them.

  10. Nowhere in any of the stories is there any mention that the perpetrators were caught on Saturday. They robbed the gas station on Saturday and went around on Sunday and robbed Brownie, then they got caught. At the gas station two are charged and they increased their number to three on Sunday. All of them down the wahoo.
