17-year-old Charge for Multiple Traffic Offences

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Saturday, October 18, 2025

Police have arrested and charged a 17-year-old male of Fort Road in connection with several traffic-related offences that occurred on Monday, October 13, 2025.

The offences include:
Driving a motor vehicle on Tanner Street and Anchorage Road without a valid driver’s licence, Driving without being covered by insurance, and Fraudulently using a registration number issued to another individual while operating the said vehicle.

The incidents involved a white 2011 Honda Fit motor car. The vehicle was intercepted during police operations in the city.

The accused was taken into custody and later charged for the offences. He is expected to appear before the court to
answer to the charges.

The Police Administration continues to remind motorists that it is an offence to operate any vehicle without a valid driver’s licence or insurance coverage. Motorist are urged to comply with the traffic laws and practice proper road safety.
