Juvenile Charged in Wounding Incident

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Friday, 26 September 2025

Police have arrested and charged a 12-year-old boy in connection with the wounding of a 15-year-old boy.

The incident occurred around 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 15, on Tanner Street. The victim was reportedly attacked and stabbed about his body with a sharp object.

The injured teen was transported to the hospital, where he remains in the Intensive Care Unit. The accused has since been charged with Unlawful Wounding, and the matter has been referred to the Child Justice Board.

  1. No tough laws or punishment to ditter these young boys, so they have no fear of retribution, because they know they will only get 3yrs max for taking a life.

    At 12, I was so damn quiet that I would piss man pants if my father shout at me too hard, and once he picks up that belt, it’s not for good looks.

    Antigua really gone to the dogs.. damn shame indeed!!!

  2. @Islanman26 – It’s the parents for these children that has caused shame on them and their children. I hate to hear everybody say Antigua gone to the dogs. Parents need to step up and be held accountable. Can’t even talk to some a dem bout dem rude picknie and dem. Really sad!
