7. I hate to hear people comment and say the parents should be charge too. Nonescense. These children have a criminal mind of their own. Do you think a parent would send his child to stab another young man ? I say no. A lot od children these days don’t listen to their parents and if the parents beat them they will hit back att their parents. The problem here is not the parents. The problem lies squarely at the door step of the children justice board and the Juvenile Act. Scrap that. Charge them as Adults.when convicted , pla e them in a juvenile center until they reach 18 and then transfer them to the main prison. That 3 years sentence for them is pure bull SHI ……. parliament get busy. Change the juvenile Act and any child who commit heinous crime should be tried as Adults. If that boy in rhe intensive care dies, what become of he. He should ever allow to walk free on Antigua streets for life. He should go down the same way

8. Parents are not responsible for their children bad behavior. The children know that the general public blaming parental for their bad behavior so they don’t care.     I am sure that even as an adult you are still pissing your pant when faced with similar situations by your supervisor.

    Situations must be dealt with on their own merit. One pill cannot cure all illness.

    In my opinion, those methods were harsh, cruel and uncalled for in most cases. Those methods you refer to were parents using a broad brush to abuse children. Personally they both should be held accountable some of these parents does swear up and down that their kids is a saint and would do nothing of such knowing that the child is a nuisance to society and have ill intentions but still don’t want to admit that then the kids knowing the failed justice system in Antigua is a slap on the wrist so they get out in a three years they kill and still nothing look them up like the animals they are charge the parents a fee of $3000 and if they can’t pay it community service until it pays off in ah hours a bet you them go turn them pickney in because who want to do community service for them pickney

13. Stop using the term – Parents. Parents make up about 10% of households. There is a single parent mother who is working 2 jobs to survive. This is where we as a country have to start this discussion.

14. I’m just wondering who is the aggressor? We got to get to the bottom of this to see if there was any bullying involved. Every story has two sides. Let’s get some more information from witnesses or feedback to see if there were ever any complaints lodged by either party. Inquiring mind needs to know.

    What is for me might not be for thee, I understand that, but the law should be the law, and it certainly needs to change in cases of a children murdering another human.

    And the reference to my experience was to when I get out of line by blatantly disobeying my father’s rule’s.
    So what is your great remedy for kids killing one another or another adult,give them a slap on the wrist that the parents and government of Antigua is doing at the moment?

    At least my father showed great love in his parenting, but when I drastically step out of line, you damn sure I deserved everyone of those licks, it made me the man I am today. And I have three grown kids that turn out very well, and I didn’t have to hit them for any drastic actions that they did, because they listened to their parents. My son was even bullied, and he was the one who had to stop me from going down to that school and commit mayhem on the kid who was constantly bullying him.

    So yes I understand both discipline and grace.

    So come up with your great plan for children who are psychopaths and commit heinous crimes. Remember Jeffery Dommer started when he was a child, but it seems you think discipline is something terrible.

    Rules are put in place for a reason sir, follow them.
